about

Alternating between clusters of feedback and deconstructed spaces, "Pox Mechanika" uses technology to circumvent technology, and to internalize unbounded exterior spaces. Time is stretched and compressed, the final few seconds of a pop song becomes a sinuous tissue that fades into the distance. No sound is sacred. All sounds are sacred.

about

As a kid, I loved the soundtracks of the Sci Fi and Horror films I watched each Saturday. Then I grew ... more up.

Cyclops Joint was active in the early 1990's experimental music scene in Houston, Texas.

It has been both a solo studio project and a live band.

Although I've never stopped recording music, I released the last Cyclops single in 1996.

Now I'm unleashing the archives-- more sonics coming... less
