Mined Bodies is a collection of previously unreleased material recorded from 1991-1995. It also features the track "Carnival of the Drunken Rat", the extended version of the song that originally appeared on the Manifestation III compilation in 1992. The song "Barter is Terminal" originally appeared on the 2nd Bureaucracy of Hope compilation "You'dsellaratsassholetoablindmanasaweddingring" that was released in 1996.

"606616646666" and "the sk5 stray" were performances recorded direct to 2-track cassette tape through an old Tascam 6-channel mixer. The rest of the tracks were recorded and mixed using a Yamaha MT-120s 4-track Cassette Recorder.
